ABOUT ME

Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regent University, where I graduated in 2016. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina and Virginia, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)

My specialties include: women’s issues, trauma, sexual abuse and assault, spiritual abuse, narcissistic abuse, stage of life issues, relationship/communication issues, spirituality from a Christian perspective, anxiety, and depression. I am especially passionate about eradicating the effects of trauma and understand that all traumatic experiences are unique and vary in intensity, duration, and circumstances. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Brainspotting, which are highly effective brain-based modalities used to rapidly resolve trauma-related symptoms and treat other mood and psychosomatic issues.

Aside from the credentials, I think it's also worth mentioning that I have a warm, bubbly personality and strive to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for every client who walks through my door. With all of that being said, there are millions of personalities in America and thousands of counselors to match individual needs and preferences. Whether you choose to invite me to partner with you on your journey or continue to "shop," my hope is that you find a counselor who is your ideal fit.

One of my greatest passions in life is helping people find breakthrough and experience long-lasting freedom. Believe it or not, I was an in the sixth grade when I realized I wanted to become a counselor. As I grew older, I became increasingly bothered by brokenness of the world and the depth of hurt people so often suffer. I made it my life's mission to come alongside those who would be open to the journey of growth and healing. Whether you are seeking to overcome the past, experience healthier relationships, or simply feel better, I am confident that partnering with the right counselor could jump-start that journey.

If you are curious about my credentials, I graduated from Clemson University (go tigers!) in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and continued to pursue my
