WHY SEEK COUNSELING?
As "life happens,” it brings challenges of all types, intensities, and durations. I might be biased, but I believe that everyone could benefit from counseling at some point in life. I am passionate about helping my clients navigate through life's challenges, overcome obstacles, and find a sense of joy and purpose in their journeys. While taking the step to seek counseling can be strange and even anxiety-provoking, I am dedicated to creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental atmosphere where you are welcome to cry, laugh, and feel everything in between throughout the process.
VIRTUAL SESSIONS AVAILABLE
**I am currently unable to accept new clients until fall/early winter 2022**
I offer both in-person sessions at our East North Street location as well as virtual sessions through a HIPAA-compliant video portal. Brain-based therapies are also available through the virtual format.
BRAIN-BASED THERAPY
Trauma can manifest itself in many ways—whether you have been a victim or witness of abuse, endured toxic relationships, or felt the familiar sting of rejection or abandonment, there is hope for a life free of the trauma symptoms. I am trained in EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Brainspotting, which are evidence-based treatment modalities effective in rapidly and thoroughly resolving trauma-related symptoms including depression, anxiety, and psychosomatic symptoms.
